55 years ago today, Sputnik was launched.
But for the ensuing Space Race, would this forum and our hobby even exist?
As a celebration, I thought we should post pictures of our Russian Rockets. Sputnik, Soyuz, Vostok, Sam-3, whatever. I'll post mine when I get home from work.

The only Soviet Russian rocket I ever had was the "Wolverine" and then only so my Star Blazer could blow it out of the sky. :D

I don't have any Russian rockets in my collection, currently. But I hope to add a few in the future. I really love the elaborate lower stages, and the brute power Russian rocket designs exude...

Oops,
Here's mine:
Vostok and Soyuz in nominal 1/64th scale from Semroc parts and Alway plans.
I have a Sputnik on the build table including the excellent nose cone Sandman made for me.
A SAM-3 and Wolverine are waiting for paint (and have been for over a year).
Plus now, I may have a go at a Proton.
