The photos show where I'm at in the construction but I need some advice on balancing , engine size and nose weight and chute size, etc. I hope to avoid turning this into a lawn dart so any tips a appreciated.

Thanks ,

Tim

Generally, the CG for a properly balanced Saturn - V is right about where the interstage
ring between the SIC and SII stages. If you used scale size fins, it'll be advisable to include
clear plastic slipons to be on the safe side. As far as engine power, that depends on the
total overall weight of the model at launch. A little more data on your Saturn and I'm sure
we can fill in the blanks.

BTW, great looking model!!

Man, nice looking model. What kit is this built from?

Looks to me it's one of those paper stock models. I know I've seen it somewhere on the
web, but can't remember where. Properly built, they're just as good as the commercially
available kits. I've seen a giant scale V-2 several years back that was also made from
printed paper stock, and it was very handsome and detailed.....

You can find this paper Saturn V model at http://jleslie48.com/satv20/ . This model is by Ton Noteboom. He has a Saturn 1B and a Little Joe II on jleslie site also.
