Bye Bye, Ben
Start of rant
After how many years in the league, and Big Ben hasn't learned when to throw the ball away. Always thinking if he just has one more second, he can make the big play. The result last night........... 4 drive-stalling sacks for 37 lost yards, 2 interceptions, and a 30-17 loss at home to the Ravens. IMHO one of the most over-rated quarterbacks ever. And I'm a Steelers fan! And in a monumental understatement, Ben said, ".............guys look at me as the leader and the quarterback to make plays and do what it takes to win the football game, and I don't believe I did that today." You don't BELIEVE you did that today? Let me add some clarification to the issue: YOU DIDN'T! End of rant. |

It's not like you have to worry about the Bengals. ;) |

As long as we don't replace the starting quarterback with a bench warmer in the last games of the year while we still have a slim,,, slim... chance of getting into the playoffs (at the time). Of all the boneheaded decisions by any of the numerous Cleveland coaches in the past 16 years, I can't think of one which tops that. I think the front office succumbed to the media and local fans (who in my opinion are about evenly split between Johnny Manziel and Brian Hoyer, or at least were at that point in time). They wanted to see Johnny. Hell, the one good thing that came outta the game is that everyone realized Johnny isn't going to save the Browns. There were also rumors around the town that some of the players wanted to see Johnny on the field and weren't giving their all to the game, which is why Hoyer looked so bad in his outings previous to Johnny's start. I hope they enjoy missing out now on any post season paycheck they might of earned. I'm not saying the Browns would have won that second game, but I can almost guarantee it wouldn't have been a shut out. Rant over. |
He should have been thrown out of the league long ago, piece of $hat.
|
The Browns, just like the Indians, are SUPPOSED TO STINK !!!
And yes, I LOVE Suh's brand of play. |
Big Ben, big game, 79.3 QB Rating. I've heard him called 'Big Worthlessbugger'.
