Roachwerks New "Temporary" web site
Need anything made? Just let me know.
http://www.roachwerksmachining.com/ I have a few Pershing 1a cones made and ready to go. They now include a fitted "lead slug" for nose weight and patterns to build the finished model! I have some Tilt-a-Pads left. I also have a few upscale Astron Sprint kits (BT-56 heavy duty tubes) completed as well as drop nose nose cones (BT-56 sized) and patterns to make an upscale Starship Nova. This is NOT a close out...this is just what I have finished and ready to ship. I can make anything else to order. |
Sandman,
what's the price range on one of those BT-56 drop nose cones? Thanks, EV |

They are pretty labor intensive to make so I have to charge $34 each for them. It's actually 2 nose cone fitted and glued together with a lot of filling and sanding. I did make a BT-80 version for myself but it was a PIA to move around...I coulda put my eye out with the fin tip probes! The BT-56 size is a little more reasonable to deal with size wise. A little sanding on the shoulder and that size would fit the heavy duty SLS SEMROC tubes. The fourth pic below shows one above the Vostok nose cone. The last pic is my BT-80 version I fley at NARAM 47. Excelcior rocketry has the decal set already finished for BT-56 and BT-80 sizes. |

Eric, I own one of these cones that Gordon made for me. I can verify that he does great work and it is well worth the price! |

Top notch craftsmanship, all I have ever gotten from Gordon.

Sandman, you do good work! I have one of your Pershing 1A 3.9" nose cones, but have been slow in building, as I have not been able to get the patterns right!. I see now that you have the patterns. What will it cost for me to get them! I am also interested in the Nike Hercules when you get ready for it!

Just send me an email and I can send you a pdf with the patterns. Also let me know what tube that was. 3.9 is a BT-101 but I want to be sure. |

On my BT-80 model I just made a fram out of balsa and just covered it with cardstock. It worked great! |
