Rocket Electronics

Hi Folks,

Can anybody point me in the direction of a comprehensive list of current rocketry electronics manufacturers? I've done google searches for most of the variations of the words rocket, electronics, computer and flight with differing results for each one. This makes "shopping" for new stuff difficult. Especially when the majority of the links returned refer to unavailable hardware.

If there is no repository of this knowledge, maybe a sticky could be made here and we could start listing the manufacturers and their products .

it does sort of depend on what type electronics you are looking for...using the terms 'dual deploy' gets a number of possible websites. failing that, Apogee's web store yields a list of categories(under electronics).

Here is a good comparison chart on altimeters.

And a nice article on GPS tracking systems.

I don't know of anything like this for other electronics.

Altimeter Chart

Hello Scott.

I think that this chart should be made a 'Sticky.' It is a terrific reference!

Has anyone considered using such a device for low power (E or smaller) rockets?

Does anyone have any input on this?

:-)
