Work station

Talk about work stations. Photos of our work areas etc. I'm back into this hobby after a messy divorce in which I'm lucky to even have all my rockets and equipment. I've bought myself a home and done a bunch of cosmetic things to the home. Finally now I've set up my space for rocket builds. Now I would enjoy talk about your space your work stations.

My townhouse has a "tandem" garage with an alcove at one end. This is where a bedroom would be in higher-end units. I think I put it to better use, as a shop:

The other two walls of the alcove is lined with shelves, for tools and rockets and rocket parts.

I've since had a four-outlet electrical service installed where the cork board is now. On its own circuit. so I can plug in a couple of tools.

The back yard is only about 20' x 20'. Big enough to play fetch with the dog (now gone) and to do spray painting in!

Because of the amount of building I've been able to do over the past few weeks my bench is a total mess, but everything is out in the open and within reach.

This is my shop area; it's worked out especially well when we have team sessions.

That's something to be proud of. 😃 Some great photos what a treat to see the way we work. Very professional.

You shop looks magnificent, John.

Also, unnaturally neat. Kind of scary.

It does indeed! I'm rather embarrassed by the clutter of mine.

Everything in my shop has a thick coating of balsa dust.

Once or twice a year l open the big shop doors and clean my shop with a leaf blower.

A clean shop is the sign of a sick mind...I'm sure that's a psychological truth. Simply amazing, John- if my wife ever sees those photos though, I'm done for!
