Misplaced... :chuckle:

well eventually someone will find it and it will find its' way home. the nose and motor retainer should survive for a couple of years...I have my doubts about the motor case and altimeter lasting that long(in usable condition).

given how the universe seems to work...the rocket should return home shortly...I just ordered a replacement altimeter.

Hurray!

apparently I need to be a LOT more obvious about how I put my name on my rockets. so now my rockets may have a nice paint job AND a big label on them.

That will make them ugly...not your name, but the label itself. Rockets will be found with the chute out. Maybe attach a 3" by 6" cloth streamer with good contrasting info on it to the shock cord or put your info on the shoulder of the nosecone. They will notice when it gets shoved back into the body for transport.

er no it won't. this rocket was labeled on the base of the nose cone(where the shock cord connects) and no one noticed (or looked there). my guess, is the person who found it tucked the chutes into the chute bays and closed up the forward bay, later no one pulled the nose all the way off. so if it isn't immediately obvious the bird gets tossed into the club trailer until the next launch. that motor will be a real joy to clean.
