Next Estes Clearance Sale?

I noticed one of the big rocket vendors recently listed several current Estes kits as discontinued. In addition to what is currently on sale on the Estes Specials page, I wonder if these will make up the annual holiday sale.

Would really like to see the Sky Dart II go on clearance sale.
I always see it for the insane price of $28.99 which is more than I'm going to pay for any small BT-50 based rocket that is not a vintage kit.

Looks like Belleville Hobby has SkyDart IIs for $13.04. It took me less than 5 minutes to find it at that price, along with many other places selling it for less than $28.99.

You should have come to NARAM 58. Sky dart IIs were given away.

Thanks, turbofireball !

Yes, but Belleville charges a huge amount for shipping. Two Skydart kits cost almost $18 to ship.

$18 to ship ???
Effffff thattttttt.
I'll keep watching for it to be clearanced or maybe grab one from AC Supply with another 1/45 LJ II.

So I wasted 5 more minutes of my time and here are approximate costs for 2 SkyDart kits and shipping:
Belleville 26.08+17.49=$43.57
HobbyLinc 40.58+7.27=$47.85
Tower 46.38+5.99=$52.37
I could go on and on and on but I won't. I picked what I thought would be the cheapest according to Google shopping. This info was based on shipping to my zipcode. You most likely could save all shipping costs by having a larger $ order. I don't work for any of these places, and have only ever shopped at Tower before this. You might find it cheaper somewhere else, so instead of complaining about shipping, do the research and post it here. I was just trying to help ghrocketman in searching for a great price on SkyDart IIs.

Thanks !
I'm gonna check AC Supply

I didn't complain. I've known about Belleville's shipping prices for years and gave a heads up that the low front end price isn't that much of a deal. Buy more, pay even more. You are the one that should do some more research, as I've done it over the decades and immediately knew how Belleville lowballs their front end prices. They have flat rates for $$ instead of weight and it doesn't matter what your zip code is. For a 100.01 order you pay $25 even if it's all little light weight stuff like kits which are mostly air in the packages.

AC Supply is just under $46.77 for 2 kits including shipping. Their shipping charge is a flat $11.99 and they waive the shipping cost for anything over $100.

Belleville Shipping Chart.
