I read the article. How can they call them vigilantes for making a video in a public place?!? It's not like they were beating them or anything.

Does that mean my launch video, with a house in the background, is a vigilante activity?!? Isn't that like saying I am a "squatter" for using a farm field to launch in...

I kind of look at it like I do my telephone with caller ID........If I don't want to hear what the guy calling has to say, I don't answer the phone........And, if I do answer the phone and then don't like what the guy has to say, I hang up....... ;)

It's amazing how much control we have without realizing it. My wife would always listen to the speal and then promise to send money because she couldn't bring herself to hurt the callers feelings or feel pressured to give. I told her.....Don't answer the phone......If you do, just hang up....they ain't your nobody.

Valid point, but I tend to think of Free For All as a place where people whoe are first and foremost rocketry geeks can go for a temporary leave of their senses to chat non-rocketry. From what I can tell, there are some recent troll-like lurkers who have taken permanent leave of their senses, chatting full-time in Free For All and only occasionally schlepping into rocketry threads.

We're all free to speak within reason on any topic in this sub-forum, but one has to question whether or not the relatively small size of this group, and pretty concentrated area of interests is even worth ranting to.

Calls for outright revolt, by the way, however patriotically intended, border on treason and don't belong anywhere.
