I hope someone offers a 3d printed part to replace the capsule adapter shroud, that would improve the durability and finish.

Quote:
LJ-5A and LJ-5B used centerline window ("big window") capsules, just like those flown on all of the manned Mercury missions from Grissom on. LJ-5 used a porthole window capsule, and can be modeled with reasonable accuracy using the parts of the forthcoming Estes kit. James |
Fair enough,
Then here's the window version: https://www.shapeways.com/product/T...tionId=60751280 This stuff is nice. I worked with him on resizing a Mercury tower for the old K-41 that also fits the larger of the two Dr. Zooch kits. Shop his stuff, some of it's a little pricey, but its super accurate. For what it's worth, the prices have started coming down. . . . |

Is this available anywhere yet? Someone is doing a build thread of it on FB. Are they beta testing?

AC Supply still shows the Little Joe coming in October and the 2157 Saturn V in November.
