I seem to be a “spindle guy” — I started off turning pens, then tool handles and peppermills, and of course nose cones.
Here are some reversible screwdrivers, and a peppermill, and a handle for a gouge. I enjoy making blanks from gluing up different hardwoods. Those ferrules on the screwdrivers are copper fittings, the brass ferrule on the gouge handle is a heavy brass hex nut. You are probably aware, but soft metals are pretty easily turned with simple HSS tools.
