*Nods* I certainly wouldn't turn my back on such kits just because they had (substitute) balsa nose cones (and transitions, as Semroc's Centuri Excalibur has), but wherever resin or other plastic duplicates of the original injection-molded styrene ones were available (as they are--in many cases--from Sirius Rocketry), I'd prefer to use them instead of balsa.
