Default Estes #2015 Strikefighter - Fins, Parts & Guides

Whew!

This one was a toughie, fer sure...

Four patterns:
  • Fins -- 2 sheets required, 3/32" balsa
  • Thin trims -- one sheet required, 0.02" matteboard or cardstock
  • Rings and cooling fins -- one sheet required, 0.05" matteboard
  • Alignment guides -- one sheet required, 0.05" matteboard

I made one cosmetic change to two of the rings used on the pods. The rear openings of the pod core tubes were filled with a simple ring that had a hole in the center for a launch lug size tube. I opted for a more detailed ring with some "pseudo spinning blades" burned into the surface. I thought it looked a little better than just a plain ring...

I did not include the engine tube centering rings, as these are common-stock CR-2055...
