Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking the plastic renaissance, just reminding us of all the noise thrown out against it in the past. Plastic parts have their place for me too. I've ordered enough specialty tubes for a couple of Boyce block II Saturns. Hopefully the parts will be thin and light, or will be made in such a way that I can remove enough material to make them good fliers.
