I believe that when Semroc started up again around 2003, they may have numbered the kits they started re-releasing with even higher production numbers than 100.
I have a Triton #365, Micron #319, Swift #267, Hydra VII #452, Laser X #428, etc.
For example this current ebay listing has a Semroc Firefly with production #247 for sale:
OLD SEMROC FIRE FLY MODEL ROCKET
Semroc released the Firefly kit in 2004.

I think Semroc released the Starship Vega in 2012 when they were not numbering the kits as high anymore, as Carl described in the the post shared by Tbzep.

And of course the other most notable numbering variation was Semroc's historic Golden Scout celebration exactly ten years ago in which Carl & Sheryl produced individual Golden Scout kits with unique production #s up to #1500 (!) along with special signed certificates for those that were flown that summer. They must have been incredibly busy getting those ready!
