I'm In need of a nose cone for space shuttle 1385 kit
Does anyone have a spare nose cone and pods for the estes 1385 space shuttle columbia model rocket?

Here is a nose cone that I got from a crashed shuttle on eBay that I rebuilt. However I'm still looking for pods for my scratch built shuttle then it will be complete. This is how it came. Used model glue and jb weld to fill in the missing pieces.

Make it a Buran. Same size. Same shape. No pods.

After much thought about not having pods. I decided to make my own pod mold and make them out of fiberglass. Here they are before I smooth them out with a thin layer of body filler.

Pods bondo'd and glued on the shuttle next is paint.
