Default Estes Titan III E kit

Estes Titan III E kit.

Is this kit worth anything?

I can get my hands on one for $10.00, open, complete.

You could resell it on ebay and more than quadruple your money.

I would be surprised if you could not get at least $75 out of it on ebay if you intend on buying it for profit.
I`d probably build it, convert it to the proposed but unproduced old manned version with Gemini capsule, and make the central motor mount 29mm with 24mm mounts in the outboard booster tubes.

Motor retention of the 29mm motor in BT60 is bit of a challenge. I dremeled all the ridges on an Estes retainer into grooves and still had some booster hang up issues.

I like the Gemini idea.

Or how about an X-20 Dyna-Soar. I'm pretty sure Gordy makes one for BT-60.

And there's a plan of sorts in Spaceship Handbook by Hagerty from ARA Press if you can find a copy.

Cool Idea, MarkB.
Make the Dyna Soar glide-recovery and controlled with micro R/C gear.

Yes, I do and with the Titan III kit all you need then are some "slight modifications and just add some fins to the Titan and boosters.

The picture shows fins but since this is an early concept I think you can make the fins a bit bigger.
