Looks like I really ought to make the trip to Home Depot to get a can of 90. I’ll certainly use the 77 on enough projects in my shop, and for helping on various craft projects for my wife, so there is no need to use the can on my Saturn V build. And, if I can finish all my 1/100 projects for the Apollo 50th (Saturn 1B, Saturn V, and Little Joe II), I’ll need it for my 1/45 Little Joe II that would be nice to get completed.

And if those all get done, I have a Semroc 1/70 Saturn 1B, and a Dr. Zooch Saturn 1 SA-5 ... these next 9 months are going to be insane.

I guess the 50th anniversary of the moon landing came as a surprise?

You had 50 years to get those models finished!

The good news is that if I get them all done, they will all look so new and shiny!

It really is the right stuff to use. Just remember to:

1) test and practice first on scrap material,
2) use a single light coat on each surface,
3) don't freak out at the lace-like splatter appearance of the spray, and
4) let the solvent flash off for 5-6 minutes before sticking parts together.

Thanks James. The can of 90 I bought today is huge — about 17 oz. for $13. My can of 77 is about 10 oz., and was $16 list at Hobby Lobby. Even with 40% off, it is not as good of a deal as Home Depot.
