I love most Sushi rolls. Especially with cooked shrimp, crab, or lobster. Plenty of Wasabi and pickled ginger on the side. Not a real big fan of the raw sashimi, but do like caviar on sushi, which is raw. I eat Sushi/japanese food for lunch at least once a week.

Duck is absolutely AWESOME when prepared correctly, but I do not care for Duck Al Orange.
Had Gang Gai (Red Curry) Duck and Chicken over Pad Thai noodles yesterday at a great Thai place near my office. Veggies in the dish include red/green bell peppers, finely sliced bamboo shoots, and water chestnuts. Ordered it "Medium plus" heat level which is above "Hot" at most mexican restaurants. I usually have Duck at least once a week. The key to it being good is that is MUST be cooked WITHOUT the skin. Otherwise it is WAY too greasy.

My favorite fowl hands-down however is Pheasant. NOTHING of an aviary species is better.
Grilled Pheasant breast with a light bbq or teriyaki sauce is unreal good.

My maternal grandfather used to grow all those ridiculous "old geezer' vegetables on his farm that included Kohlrabi, Turnips, Swiss Chard, Parsnips, and Rutabagas. They all SUCK and none are fit for human consumption. Would be fine for the critter pictured below though.

I grow those "geezer" veggies. After all, I reached Geezerhood long ago..........

My wife likes the kohlrabi and turnips raw, with a little veggie dip, and I sell the heck out of 'em at the Farmer's Market.

I like to grow and sell 'em, but not eat 'em myself........(really need a "puke" smilie here!)

HOWEVER.....
This summer I'll send ya a box with some homegrown heirloom Indiana tomatoes!
One bite and y'all will whimper like a puppy!
