For those who missed it, see message #69 on previous page, C11's are BACK:
https://forums.rocketshoppe.com/sho...26&postcount=69

I've done a few test flights on C11's when I didn't want to risk the model drifting too far.

I have a special R/C project coming up, designed for D12 power, that I'm probably going try first on C11 power. So in case things start to go badly, I want it to burn out early. I have ONE C11 left, but now I can order a few packs from AC Supply (as well as some other stuff for the free shipping for $100 orders).

Cool C11s are Back ?

Greetings:

I had heard at NARCON-2019 that Estes was going to bring the C11-3 and C11-5s back into production. This is the first indication that the old Hobbyco decision (their last one prior to bankruptcy) was overturned by petition, cards, email, and other communications.

Excellent. I was about to install 18 mm mount for using Q-Jet C12s in place of C11s on some of my rockets.

Q-Jets fit nicely in the red plastic Estes 18/24mm adapters so you can go both ways with a 24mm mount.

I am glad that the C11s haven't gone away as they have some good uses.

Glad to hear C11-3 and C11-5 are back. I was worried that it was just a matter of time before the C11-0 and C11-7 went away as well.

I have an upscaled Astron Cobra I built that uses four 24mm motors. The C11-7s are a good alternative to D12-7s to keep it a little less aggressive at liftoff.

Good to know that the “big” C motors are back. The Estes 18/24 adapter works well with QJets - I’ve flown a couple of rockets with that setup several times.

Good news! Guess I didn't need to stock up, I have a few years worth now.
