Kinda the same thing, but I can't stop now. I did like the rare double stick-the-landing pic.

Loved the 'double stick'! By the way, the Fougee looks a lot like the old Estes Apogee. Another great report, Bill!

++1 on the nice pics.
I tried to get out to launch in the orchard on Sunday, only to find that I had forgotten the pad assembly. Rods, check. Legs, .... Ummm, nope.

Bill,
Great pcitures of your day at the B6-4 Field. My flying luck seems to be following your style of flying ... I went to the CRASH launch in Denver last Sunday, and with all the nice tall grass, I managed to bring down 2 rockets in the dirt/gravel areas. One was the maiden flight of an old Orbital Transport, and a fin snapped off, but I've glued it back on. The glider flew smoothly around and landed in the grass, unscathed. Another was a scratch-built that landed in gravel just at the edge of the launch area, missing the grass by about a foot. I flew it on a C6, but a bit too heavy and probably would have gotten enough altitude on a D12 to drift to the grassy areas. I've since modified it for 24mm. And finally, my Cherokee-D had too much chute for the D12 flight, but recovered just fine, although almost a two mile hike to retrieve it, due to walking clear around a keep-out area at the site. But I missed the trees!

I have a small field range box that holds everything but motors. And batteries. Unfortunately. That oversight has been corrected.

Thanks. I thought the same thing about the Fougee, but I think the guy tossed the instructions before he started building.

BTW, Fougee sounds like something I'd name a rocket Dougee .

Yeah, those look like 2/3 scale Apogee-II booster fins. Scale them up so that the root is the same length as the booster tube and it would be (or could be) an Apogee-II. The rest of it looks about right. It's the right nose cone (BNC-20B).
