Hmmmm...............I wonder what I could get for my Launch Pad version of the kit. I believe it's the same scale, but a tougher build.

The kit is still sealed in plastic overwrap.

The high price is bringing the mice out of the woodwork..............here's another one, crappy water-stained box, and the build has been started. Out-of-round tubes, too.

Starting bid? $295!

Anybody?

Did Gordon ever weigh his balsa nosecone and compare it to the kit's plastic one? I'm tempted to scratch build one to fly because my vintage one will never come back down off display.

LOL...as if I have time to build anything these days.

It sold for a bit over $295.
Still ridiculously high.
That's more than the far rarer K-29 Saturn 1B goes for usually.

That Pro Series launch pad went for $199.99! Geez, I bought my Rockwell JawStand for $50. Here's a shot of it with a friend's 8 foot 20mm rail. I've got a 4 footer, which I deemed a bit short for my Super Orbital Transport.

I am currently making another support (I used a 2x4 for rail in picture, it's just painted black) for a keyless chuck for launch rods. My MakerBeam rail has a 3/16" rod in the bottom, so it can be used in standard pads, and the chuck I'm setting up for the JawStand.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see that one relisted.
I never trust an auction bidder with very low feedback (1 in this case) and a recently new account.
Most likely the seller has a second account trying to drive the price up.

Default 'Fishy' Listings from China

This completed 'Buy it Now' listing on Ebay looks exceptionally fishy to me. How shall we count the ways? There have been a few that fit this pattern lately.

Here's the item number: 272756255040

No bidders listed and seller with 0 transactions. Not in US either...um, nope!
Wouldn't waste my cash, except that PayPal would protect the buyer.

Oh yeah that one smells for sure. I am 100% positive I seen that same lot offered recently. I only look at auctions in the US so it would not of been the one Pat gave the number to.

The best thing on the China auction description - Shipping is by USPS to continental USA only
That would be impossible.
