Default Kopter Rockets is coming back!

Walt Senoski of Kopter Rockets is coming back, to become the latest BARM (Born-again Rocket Manufacturer). He is excited about restarting the company after all these years. He said he had trouble sleeping last night just thinking about it.

He does not have a web presence and is not computer literate (YET), but he wants everyone to know that he is kitting one of his most popular designs now, the Kopter . He is in the Pittsburgh area and is friends with many at the PSC section. John Brohm is one of the most active members on this forum.

For the near future, welcome him back in this thread and I will see that he gets copies of the posts. We HAVE to get him on the forum. He is already making plans to attend NARAM and have some of his kits there.

That's cool, Carl! Great news!

Let him know he's welcome here anytime.

Also, if he wants me to take any/all of his plans offline that I have on YORP since he's going to be selling them again, just let me know.

Let me echo what Carl has said. Our Newsletter Editor and Club Founder, Art Nestor, tracked Walt down this summer and after some dialogue convinced Walt to come on out to some of our Club launches. Walt's been at the last two, and brought along with him a couple of his Pterosaurs. In a word, Awesome! His gliders are just some of the best I've seen, dialed in for absolutely flat glide performance, and just a wonder to watch.

We are privileged to have Walt join us at our PSC launches, and our hobby community is equally blessed to have this living piece of history back in action. I've enjoyed the technical discussions I've been fortunate enough to have with Walt so far, and in many ways he's another Carl - a genuine gentleman, an engineer's Engineer, and he radiates a passion for the hobby that is simply infectious. I'm looking forward to his forthcoming (re?)releases, and his continued participation in our Club. As Carl says, let's extend Walt a warm welcome, and reintroduce ourselves to some innovative designs that we've not seen in a while.

I built and flew one of his Kopter rockets when I had a full head of hair and weighed half what I do now. Great Kit.

One of the best ways to get non computer literate folks on the web is with one of the many pads.

Yes, great news! This rocket must have came and went without me noticing the first time around. When was it and did any of you have (or still have) one?
