Default Lost Mega Der Red Max - Bong

Lost Mega Der Red Max at Bong, Saturday, August 17th. I estimate 1000' west of parking lot E, somewhere in the tall stuff, probably within 200' of the main park road. Has my name & #. Also has 29/360 Dr. Rocket case.

Paul,

I went out for a while after you leftover Sunday night. I went within about 30 yards of tower and all the way back twice . I didn't see it. I did manage to get stung by 3 bees, must have stepped on something in the tall grass. Right about 7:45pm I found of all things someone's black baby Bertha. I'm amazed we can't find a 4 inch red rocker but I find a black baby Bertha in almost no sun. Go figure.

Hope someone finds it. It was a beautiful rocket and a nice flight.

The MDRM was found after 4 weeks! One of the park maintenance personnel returned it to the office, no word on where it was found. Had my phone number prominently on the NC, as well as filled out a lost item form, and the park called me.

Everything is accounted for, the Dr. Rocket 29/360 case slid right out, and is in very good shape. The only water damage is the the upper half of the BT, inside only, and not too bad. The NC looks like it was nicked by a mower or something, but not bad at all. Now we know, a stock built Estes kit can handle an I200.

Glad to here Paul. I would love to know where it was at. That still puzzles me as to how we couldn't find it. Next time lets use my tracker.

I would guess if one of the park workers found it. It must have been close to the road or near one of the trails they cut the grass. Great news
