Default Naram 60

Does anyone know if tailgaters will be allowed, or is this exclusive to the vendors listed?
This would be a great time to sell off my classic collection to fellow rocketeers.

What 'cha got Dewalt? I have been trying to sell off extra kits only to find that a good number of them have deteriorating bags. I have had the pleasure of knowing the Estes and Piesters for years and have avoided asking them to sign items. But, I may have to impose on them for a couple of things. I have two Estes Antares kits. My only child is named Antares...

I'm still looking for a Centuri Payloader II kit with the balsa nose cone vs the later plastic cone. That was my first rocket.

Default Rocketeer Reunion NAR History Auction

In case you missed this. Silent auction to be held during the Rocketeer Reunion to benefit curation of the Estes and Piester Collections at MOF:

NAR History Fund Benefit Auction

Art and Artifacts from the Golden Age of Model Rocketry

Rocketeer Reunion attendees will be offered a unique opportunity to support the NAR's National Model Rocketry Collection's preservation of the Estes and Piester collections. Attendees may bid on unique treasures donated by the pioneers of their hobby in a Silent Auction held during the event.

Auction Highlights

Early Production Run Estes Kits from the Estes Collection: Scout, Mark, and Space Plane

Early Estes Industries kits from the personal collection of Vernon and Gleda Estes. These kits were saved from an early production run by Mr Estes in the early 1960's. The pristine unbuilt models, still in original sealed rare pre-hangtag packages, are mounted in a shadow box with a descriptive COA autographed by Vern Estes.
Minimum Bid: $2500. Donated by Vern and Gleda Estes

Centuri Laser X Original Box Art Canvas Reproduction from the Piester Collection

Centuri Engineering was renowned for its outstanding kit designs and graphics. Among the most loved of these kits was the Centuri Stellar Line which featured incredible colorful box art unmatched in the hobby to this day. For the first time ever a lucky collector can own an exact canvas reproduction of the original box art illustration used on the Laser X box, one of the classic Centuri Stellar Line kits. This canvas artwork has been produced under the direct personal supervision of Centuri Engineering founder Lee Piester.

Minimum Bid: $750. Donated by Lee and Betty Piester

Autographed Copy of “Orbit: NASA Astronauts Photograph the Earth” by Jay Apt, Michael Helfert, and Justin Wilkinson, as edited by Roger Ressmeyer. The book is autographed by Jay Apt from his personal collection.

This magnificent volume of orbital photography was published by National Geographic magazine almost a quarter century ago. Long out of print, this pristine volume is vividly illustrated with photographs taken by NASA astronaut Jay Apt and his colleagues during Space Shuttle operations. The volume has been boldly signed by Jay Apt and is from his personal collection. This book has never before been offered in a NAR auction.

Minimum Bid: $500 Donated by Jay Apt

Payment: Cash, Check, or Paypal.
