Default Whoops!

I was wondering why there were no posts. Since I've never used this "moderated posts/threads" feature before I forgot to turn on the bit that sends me emails when there are new threads/posts in this forum. I see there are a number of them for me to moderate/approve. I'll get that handled now.

Scott, it's a pity you have been burdened by this extra work (and I'm not pointing fingers at anybody). I'm sure it's something you didn't need, and hopefully will become unnecessary as people take your 'rules refresher' to heart.

Thanks for the clarification Scott. For awhile there I thought you might have exercised the "nuclear option"!

Lol.
Ted, I was thinking the same thing...nuclear option.

I apologize to Scott for being off topic far too often on "Free Fer All".
I may just put a self-imposed ban on myself for that forum.

I haven't been receiving many emails that a thread was posted to.

I got to the point of not even reading some posts in the Free-For-All.
I know from personal experience that "Whack the Gas" works. It saved my life one time!

My advisement to "WHACK the GAS" was no joke.
One often has more control actually under acceleration than braking.

Well, in my case, it was just after twilight and I could barely see outside of the headlights. I suddenly noticed headlights shining through my passenger window upward through the windshield. So, I tromped on the gas and a Camaro zoomed right behind me into the posts down the middle of the highway divide.
