I bought several Red River kits at NARAM in Muskegon, MI several years ago. Unfortunately, the Red Shift wasn't one of them.

John Dyer is a really nice guy with some great designs.

His web site is still up:

http://www.redriverrocketry.com/

giving me false hope that he may reconsider and reopen his company.

Funny, he contacted me out of the blue a year or two ago when I posted my latest disk wing R/C rocket glider kit called Prometheus, he demanded I change the name since he had a kit called USS Prometheus that was not a rocket glider and looked nothing like mine, he provided no copyright not that it would have been defendable and he had not produced a kit in years afaik. Composite warehouse also has/had several prometheus kits at the same time. I just blocked him on fb.

I texted John Dyer a few days ago that there was a question here about the Red Shift.

He shut down RRR after Carl McLawhorn passed as SEMROC was selling him parts. He could not get similar deals at a reasonable cost from other balsa part providers. If he does eventually go back into production, it would most likely be with 3D printed cones.
