I heard on the news today that 40% of Florida's fourth graders falied the reading/writing portion of the F-CAT, a stupid standardized test that this state uses tobas a lot of it's desicions, about how to run the schools. The big solution! Make the passing grades lower. Insstead of teaching our children to read and write they just want to change the passing standard. Dumb everything down so everyone passes. That is like everyone in sports gets a trophy. Even if they suck they get a trophy. Don't get me started.
