Gene Street's '68 Magnum-Ducted-Opus K-33 Trident
I've been working on this one for a while, now. Happy to have gotten it in Rustoleum 2X Semi-Gloss White, today. Such a cool design, and a fantastic update by Semroc.
The paint went on with no Runs or Drips, just a few Dust Bunnies that can be knocked down after curing. The paint is less than opaque in a couple spots, I'm unsure if it'll need a 2nd coat. Last edited by Overeasy123 : 06-08-2016 at 08:26 PM. |

The lovely thing about the Semroc update is the much-larger gas passages. I built one with the xKit parts and the hand cut gas passages and had an ejection charge basically blow the bottom main tube apart between one of the BT-5s. I've flown the Semroc repro with the laser-cut gas passages several times with no problems.
Sweet model, this one.
