Sure, but all I have is a monochrome copy to start with. It would be better if someone with an original made a grey scale scan.

I agree, but such an ephemeral item is quite possibly rare enough that you might have the only known one "in captivity." (In other words, there may well be grey scale originals out there, but which might not see the light of day for years--if ever.) Even a monochrome copy of the Quazar plan is better than no copy at all (if a grey scale one turns up later from someone else--perhaps "encouraged" by the appearance of yours on the Ye Olde Rocket Plans website--then a grey scale scan of it could become the new online copy.) A lot of older model rocketry ephemera, including plans, is getting more scarce as the years and decades pass, and even less-than-ideal copies of them are important for the completeness of the hobby's historical record.

I second Jason's thought. If you have a scan , even if it's one bit rather than gray scale, please share!

Thanks!

For those who like the Reaper (originally called KKDC--Klingon Kamikaze Death Cruiser--designs, with auxiliary motors w-a-y out on the wing tips [the results of a motor misfire are very exciting!]), the Quazar's BT-5 wingtip pods offer interesting "GH-ey" possibilities...

Thumbs up

Ah, the mystery is solved! Thanks to everyone for their input and follow-ups on this thread, and special thanks to designer Michael Hardman for this great looking model.

I second that. Much better than my copy. I'm printing yours and replacing my hard copy with it. :-) I was sure somebody out there had an original they could scan and submit.

Thanks to all for solving this mystery. And that is a very interesting model indeed....clearly inspired by the much earlier DOM Starship Excalibur, but larger and with a 24mm motor mount.
