I have one that is opened I would be willing to part with $10 pluss shipping or any reasonable offer. PM if you're interested. Better than a clone, It's the real thing!

Thanks for uploading the fin patterns. That was the main thing I wanted. Not sure I'm going to build this as I was hoping it was closer to scale but may do it anyway as I have all the parts except the decal in my stock pile of surplus parts.

I can honestly say that as for "scale", this particular model is not even close!

Ok... I'll holler... Someone over on TRF is looking for one of these, and I'm interested in simming it up. I could use scans of the instructions, fins and decals (preferably with a ruler). I know it uses a BT-60AH nosecone, and a BT-60 body tube 18" long, along with a [EDIT] BT-20J (so it's an 18mm powered kit)[/EDIT]. Thanks! Jim

It's 18mm not 24. The PDF Sandman posted has dimensions. That should get you
Started. The one I had was sold to another forum member so, that's all the help I can give.

I just double checked my source (the body tube/kit reference) and it would appear that I must have misread it when I posted. Sorry for any confusion... Also didn't see the link when I first read the thread. I was looking for the instructions, and it was a tad late when I posted... Now it's only 4am in the morning.

Cobbled-Together US Army Hawk Clone.
When this thread started I printed out the fin patterns and assembled a clone. I used a cone from an Estes Prowler that I had lying around. The livery takes inspiration from the split-fin Neptune kit. I'll probably finish it with a US Navy decal and a clear coat. It has an 18mm mount.

That was me. It's been built and flown, but I can probably do a tracing of one of the fins.

Thanks for the offer on the drawing, but it's not the fins I need, it's the instructions, and some kind of scale for the decals.

I have a set of Sandman's decals. Would you like a scan of them?
If you do, it will have to wait until I get home from Trenton, Ontario--this weekend.
