Default PDR USS Atlantis

Not sure what the heyday of PDR was, but I've had this built for years. Like ten. In the last week I found and treated the decals, and resprayed the gloss white. Still needs some neon orange caps on the ends of the tubes, but I can fly it proudly in full livery.

Looks like it was built yesterday. Have you flown it much?

A couple of times, I think. Nothing befitting its legend yet, just A8-3 flights at B6-4 Field.

Nope, just checked. One previous flight. But I was right about the motor and the field.

I notice that Sirius Rocketry has a refit USS Atlantis kit also.

BTW have you, or are you, planning to build the whole Centuri Stellar series? Notice that you have the Starlifter and Hercules in your lineup. Erockets has the laser cut fins for the whole series. And YORP has the plans for the Hercules, Starlifter, and Photon Probe. That, along with the general dimensions in the Centuri newsletter here:

http://www.ninfinger.org/rockets/ca...1/centuri1.html

should be enough to clone the whole lineup. I've cloned the Stellar Hercules recently and built the Photon Probe kit a (long) while back. Bought the Stellar Spartan kit recently on clearance. Rest of the parts is in my build pile.

The Starlifter is ready to fly and just needs me to get the decals printed. Everything is in place, so that could happen tomorrow if golf is rained out. I still have to decide on a paint scheme for the Hercules. Both of those were done with eRockets laser cut fins. I have the Photon Probe plans printed off, but that just means I know it exists. I'm on an upscale/big bird roll right now, with an upscale of the Bo-Mar Spartan and a 1:1 FSI Eos that need finishing. The Eos is with me tonight as I plan to sand it on my lunch break.

Looks nice.
I built several of their kits.
Too bad a lot of people got ripped off when they closed up shop.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

True. I was a big fan. I had an order ready to go when the first wave of stink started bubbling up. I think I wound up with four or five kits from them, and sent another one out as a prize for an EMRR contest.
