I've listed a new category on my web site, "Boxed Kits".
You may notice the "Starter Sets" are not priced and show no quantities. Well, they aren't listed on Fortin's web site so I may just put them on Ye Olde auction unless somebody has an idea on pricing. The Blue Bird Zero starter Set is cool I may want to keep that one.

I found something in the pile.
Not sure but I think it's a Tango Papa Mars lander. I think it's the big one 6"... I think. No instructions but I have a call into Tom Prestia, maybe he can help. This is one of those "open kits", most of the parts were in the bottom of the tub.

Do you have the big one? I hope Tom can get me instructions. Maybe a bill of materials so I can verify.

Interested in that big opened Mars Lander if the price is right.
The 6" is the 1.6X size, not the big one.

Mine is the big one, which I think used a 7.67" tube (can't remember for sure). However, it used the same clear tubing for leg hinges shown in the pic. It seems like his instructions were just copies of old Estes ones with some added pages. I'll look when I get home tonight.

OK, what is the size of the "big one"?
I have a sealed kit that is 3.9" and the open one is a lot bigger. There were some loose tubes in the bin and there is a large one, 6". Just comparing the two kits it looks like all the same parts only bigger. I want to assume the loose big tube goes with the Mars Lander. A large PML (I think) tube about 8" long and two short (about 1" long) 6" tube.

The biggest one is I/J powered correct ?
I'm looking for the F-baby H powered one.

Well, that's the clue I was looking for!!!! The bagged one is labeled as a 3.9" Mars Lander....through the bag I measured a 24mm motor mount. The one spread out on the table has a 29 mm motor mount! That appears to be for "F" or "G" power. Thanks GH the motor size was the tip off.
