Default Narcon 2012

Is anyone here going to NARCON 2012?

I'll be there giving a lecture, plus I'll have some of the new Estes models and new 2012 catalogs. If I'm lucky, I will be able to bring the Sixth New Pro Series model for everyone to see as well.

Really wanted to go this year, what a great place to hold it! Alas, it conflicts with other life stuff. Nice to hear that you'll be there.

It is in my plan (it would be my first), unless gas climbs to $7 a gallon

I am currently on the bubble. The Cosmodrome is a great place to visit and I was hoping to go back. The original plan was to go to both NARCON and NARAM this year, but two things arose. The first is the price of fuel. Kansas is much closer than Michigan and the gas is cheaper there, but for me, the fun/cost ratio is better for a NARAM. The second is that my club is helping to host the FAI World Cup at the end of April and I have to find out whether I need to be here that weekend.

I'll be there giving my talk on Wallops Island and another on club management.

I'll be there as it's just up the road a piece.

Sounds good. It was just "up the road apiece" for me last year and I really enjoyed it, including both John's and Bunny's talks.
