Default Mini-bomarc

Working on a mini-bomarc vintage kit the instructions are not telling me everything. How far from the back end of the body tube does the main wing rest? Otherwise noted as w1 w2.
Thanks for any help.

Length of E1 + length of R1. Designed so you don't have to measure.

Ok I was not sure. Thanks. R2 is over length.

I just put the first coat of balsa filler coat on a BMS version. I love the Mini Bomarc. Easily one of my top ten favorite kits.

I could not resist posting this quote from Jerry Pournelle on the Bomarc from when he worked at Boeing back in the 1960's....

Quote:
They never deserve to be the butt of jokes, such as the one current at Boeing when I was there – we called the Bomarc “the civil service missile”, because it won’t work and you can’t fire it.
