Default LOC 3" kits are back

Just got off the phone with LOC and after 10 months they finely have the new mold for the 3" nose cones (which was stolen at the injection mold company). Friday they are picking up a pallet of cones and Monday new kits will start to ship. (Yay the Athena is back). Now I can put the kits back on the website this weekend as they will be back in stock next week.

I find it interesting how many "model rocket" company assets are stolen by persons with clearly premeditated tactics. Me included. I am glad LOC was able to recover but it is instructive that even with a clear insurance claim and adequate funds available, the mold still took 8 months to replace. Lost sales which they should also claim on insurance since they have records of 3" kit sales.
