Default Dusting off some old projects.

I've been out of rocketry for close to a decade. Recently decided I need to get some of the old stuff out of the shop. A young father at church asked if I could show his 3yr son some rockets....He heard I used to be into that kinda thing....yeah...kinda....LOL.

Here is one I'd like to finish. It's version two of my 2 stage Thrustline Aerospace MikeIX. I never finished it, and I'm trying to remember how I was going to make all this work.

The lower stage is a 3x24mm cluster with it's own chute / streamer. Upper stage is single 24mm using a timer for airstart.

The battery is toast, and I'll probably get the latest version of the Perfectflite timer. Let's see if I can attach pics.

Looking this thing over, I think I’m going to use an e-match to air start the 2nd stage. I’ll have to order a kit so I can dip some e-matches. They take must less voltage/current to light....

I started dusting off a few more to get ready to fly again. A few of my favorites.

I've always liked the lines of the Arapahoe E. It's one of the few fresh looking 3FNC kits that doesn't need decals to stand out.

I miss Thrustline. I bought a bunch of decals from them years ago and just used one today on my Farside X clone.

Ditto. When I first got into rocketry, Thrustline was the first vendor I bought anything from. The V-2, Hank, and Alien Troop Mover were the first kits I ever built. My last order from Sandman included the plans and decals for the Arapahoe E (a couple of years ago now, at least). I just bought a nose and tail cone. Hopefully, I find time to build it soon.

Hey guys, did you know that Squirrel Works has an Arapaho-E kit? They acquired the design from Thrustline. Temporarily out of stock though.
