Default Question on a nose cone

Hello all - I am working on gathering parts for a clone of the Estes Scorpius #1375, and I have a question about the nose cone. It is a PNC-50X, Estes part #071010 which is included in several different kits. I looked through threads on the forum already and I couldn't find the answer to this one. This nose cone was in the #1282 Photon Disruptor kit, which is an older kit. I have one of the newer Photon Disruptor kits #3025 which was released a few years ago. Can anyone tell me if these two kits use the same nose cone? I am trying not to open my package unless necessary, and I haven't seen plans on line for the new kit so I can check part numbers. If anyone happens to know and could let me know I would appreciate it greatly.

Thanks.......

Not sure if that new kit uses the same cone, but I do know a clone kit of the Scorpius is offered by MoreRockets.

I'm sure someone will chime in about bootlegged header card artwork used by MoreRockets for their clones and other blathering guff. Ignore the noise.

I believe the newer Disruptor kit uses the plastic equivalent of the BNC-55AO, which would be the wrong tube size for you.

Estes #3025 plans ... if I correctly understand what you are asking for.

3025 is an upscale of 1282, BT50 to BT55.

I don't know what I was thinking - I saw the BNC-55AO size and totally didn't relate that it was a BT55 and not BT50. Thanks for clearing it up, and yes I totally forgot to check the Estes plans list. That would have been too easy.

Maybe it will be easier to go with the kitted clone anyways...

The website for morerockets.com seems to be down. Did they fold?

Google cache says the site existed two days ago, with "New Products for December". Seems unlikely they folded, more probably a problem with their server or DNS.
