The Carlisle Mark II one could argue was the first true model rocket in the conventional sense. Personally, I'm partial to the Astron Mark, as to me it was, and is, a true classic model rocket. I need to get back into the shop and wrap up that Estes Mark II.

Thanks Steve. I still have a couple more BT-30 clones I need to wrap. A couple of Scouts and a Sky Hook. The Sky Hook (K-8) was the one that started the hobby for me. My shabbily finished, brush marks and all, original has long since been lost, so I'm looking forward to finally replacing it.
