Default Body Tube size reference cheat sheet

Hi guys...

I'm thinking of doing some upscales and semiscalers and found thumbing back and forth through my Semroc, Quest, and Totally Tubular print outs rather tiring, so I sat down today and integrated them all into a master tube list.

It JUST fits on one sheet so it's easy to print out.

Enjoy! OL JR

Default Semroc and Estes

Thank you for the list. It will be a big help for me.
Is Semroc and Estes compatible?

Yes, the Semroc tubes listed as "BT-##" are the same size as Estes tubes, and use the same number that Estes uses for their designator.

The "Series ##" tubes are based on the old Centuri engineering sizes. Interestingly enough, you can substitute Series 13 tubes for BT-56 tubes. There may be some others that overlap or are 'close enough' but that's why I put the tubes in ascending order based on size.

Carl over at Semroc said I missed some tubes, SO I guess I'll have to get around to looking them up and integrating them into the list. SO much for it fitting on one page!

Later and good luck! OL JR

The Estes BT-56 is the same as the Centuri ST-13
The Estes BT-67 is the same as the Centuri ST-20
The BT-5 and the ST-5 are interchangeable

Also ST-9 and BT-50 tubes have identical inside diameters....so mounts, couplers, and for all practical purposes nose cones for one also fit the other. ST-9 has thicker walls than BT-50, yielding a slightly heavier but more robust airframe.
