Default Dyna Star LexxJet

When the Lexxjet kit was first introduced I HAD to have one and I finished it just like the kit's face card.

Really sharp, Jeff!
I have little imagination when it comes to finishing different than the 'facecard.' Very nice colors and arrangement.
As usual!👍

Thanks! The (7) stars on the rear stabilizer were actually an afterthought. I haven't decided yet if I should leave them on.

Both of these are very well done! You always do really nice builds.

Jeffy-

That thar be a sharp lookin' rocket, as per your usual.

How did you mask the multi-colored bands near the nose?

Ah! Funny should ask. I use Tamiya masking tape specifically for curves. It’s expensive as heck, but sometimes nothing else will do.

Oh, ok. I didn't know they made such an animal. So, did you just 'freehand' the tape around, maybe, a template of some sort (held in place against the model) to create the actual curve?

The kit’s pattern sheet includes a pattern for the hyperbola. I pencilled the lines using the pattern and then applied the masking tape for curves.
