Default Nose Cone Weights - Estes Part No. NCW-1A

Does anyone know of a vendor who sells something similar to the old style Estes nose cone weights? I believe the part number is NCW-1A.

I find that as I begin cloning older kits I need nose cone weight, and I was wondering if anyone carries weights similar in style to the old Estes weights.

Semroc sells lead nose cone weights.

If my head weren't attached I'd need wood screws.

I was actually on the Semroc site looking at parts using the "Classic Model Rockets" tool that "foose4string" clued me in to on a TRF thread.

Anyway when I brought up the parts list of the rocket I was interested in cloning the tool didn't list the weights as for sale. I guess it isn't 100% up to date. I should have done a quick search before posting.

Thanks for the assist!

Carl,

I can see the uses for all of the other Misc Recovery Accessories, but what is the ball bearing for?

Thanks Carl.

By the way your Classic Model Rockets tool is outstanding! You must have a very skilled and busy database administrator on staff.

I purchased two and one is on the workbench right now. I"m just trying to work up the courage to open it up and start building. I think it's just about time.

Thank you.

Naw, I... I mean, he... is slack sometimes and gets out of focus and tries to work on too many things.

I hope to get this to be a user updatable area (like a wiki) so it could be completed sooner. Even more, I would like to have ALL the parts available, too.

Wake up, Carl. You were dreaming.
