I spent around $3 for a 1/8" square rod 36" long and 10 minutes cutting and grinding the way I wanted. Also, while the ones on that web page are aluminum, I made mine from steel. That of course is a trade off. You have the tendency of steel to rust as a negative, but the extra "heft" of the steel gives it an extra joy in sanding. akin to the razors I started my posts talking about. I know it all ends with personal preference, so experiment a bit to find what suits you.
