take a piece of paper, wrap it around the tube, make sure it is straight, tape it on, use a hobby knife to make a series of *light* cuts around the tube. Keep making light cuts. Tube = cut

Use something inside the tube, like a piece of coupler, under where you are cutting.

Default Re: Not crushing the BT

I have used the plastic Crystal Light or Wyler's packaging for their drink mixes. Cut off one end and cut down the container from top to bottom. It's best to not have any 'ridges' on the outside of it. The 'tubs' the drink mix is packed in makes nice mixing containers for epoxy, Fill 'n' Finish or Carpenters Wood Filler, too!

Grip the outside of the container and it should squeeze down quite easily. Get it small enough to go inside the body tube you have marked for cuting using Ghost's paper wrap and pencil marking for the cut. Put it in place under your cut and it will be supported enough for cutting without crushing.

Anybody using this technique, post your comments here. Remember you heard it from the Rocketking!
