"Favorite news source" might be an oxymoron.

Love the Aldrin side, less so the footprint. Will order the set when released if I get the chance.

The Australian mint has released commemorative coins as well.
2019 6 coin uncirculated set
2019 6 coin proof set

Any chance someone could link me to the coins discussed in the OP?

Also, there were some cool stamps by the USPS for the 25th anniversary, so maybe they will have a commemorative stamp for the 50th? Sometimes you can get cool first-day issue envelopes with special cancellation stamps, will be on the lookout at www.usps.com

The reverse had already been designed, it's Armstrong's reflection in Buzz's helmet.

The surcharge from the US Apollo 11 coins supports the Smithsonian's "Destination Moon" exhibit, the Astronaut Memorial Foundation, and the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation.
