Default Vintage Estes Camroc and Camroc Carrier Build

I have been so busy with work and building RC planes that my rocket building has slowed down. This is an old kit but as you can tell it still looks new. The pictures below are me cutting the package open and taking a nice whiff of the smell of old cardboard and balsa.

The kit contained only the carrier (and alternative payload section), right? The Camroc seen in the pic was not part of the kit?

The Camera is not part of the kit, it comes with a payload section.

The rocket went together pretty easy, just have to repair some of the die crunched balsa and apply 3 coats of balsa sealer and off to the paint shop.

Very cool, thanks for posting it.
It does seem strange that Estes incorporated the Scamp critter on the decal sheet.

Yes, VERY cool! Are you going to make the camera operational?

I don't suppose you two would take some high-res closeup photos of your Camroc cameras, would you?

A hi-res wrap for a fake camera would be pretty cool looking I think.

I have a coat of primer on my build, but then I burst my Appendix and spent almost a week in the hospital. I am now home and recovering and as soon as I can get around I will take some close up pictures of the camera.
