Super Alpha "a la" Alpha III
Recently was inspired by my daughter's Alpha III she built at this year's Rockville Science Day and started working on a Super Alpha dressing it up like a Alpha III. The S.A. is not really a true upscale of the Alpha III since the NC is not the right shape and the BT is not the right upscale length. I also think that the fins are not the right shape, not by much, BUT it does look great and it is close to an upscale. Kyrlon pumpkin orange and everything else are decals printed on inkjet with a coat of Krylon UV resistant clear #1305. Here it is side-by-side with her little sister... Enjoy.

There's no mistaking what that is supposed to be, correct nose cone shape or not.

I know... the card face of the kit has them in the order I did the upscale. My daughter decided to take a little "poetic license" and did it her way. I sorta followed her lead on the USA and Estes logo decals.
