Default Instruction for SAturn 5 K-36

I was able to sell my SAturn V but there is a claim that it has 5 engines. I want to find a copy of the instructions for that model. I maintain there is only a cluster of three engines. Thanks for any help

Are you just trying to prove to someone what it used for motors? Show them a catalog listing. If you look at the 1973 catalog, it lists either a cluster of three C6-3s, or a D12-3.

There were 5 plastic nozzles. Is that what he is complaining about?

I have a K-36 I have been thinking of selling and it says 3 C's or 3 D's. I don't think any manufacturer has ever sold a 5 engine kit. Tell him if he wants to convert it to 5 engines go to my website. It's not hard nor expensive to modify.

I'd like to see a picture of any official Estes Box, instructions, or catalog listing that references an Estes K-36 Saturn V using anything BUT either a cluster of 3 18mm C6-3/C5-3 motors or a SINGLE 24mm Estes D12-3.
Estes never offered a 3x24mm D12-3 mount for the K-36 nor referenced it that I have seen.
One COULD use 3 18mm LONG OOP Cox D8-3 SU BP motors for a much better flight or 3 Aerotech 18mm D10 or D24 composite motors for a MUCH better flight.

I agree, I never recall a D cluster. But reading thru the thread again, I'm thinking Rocket Babe just mis-typed it

Here's the photo from the kit I have.

Doug is correct, 3 D's was a typo, (my apologies) due in part to the brief amount of time I have to post these days. I shouldn't post from my phone.

The kit does come with all the normal plastic parts including 5 engine bells. I have several spare sets of bells since I never used them on any Saturn I've built.

And kudos to GH for posting something related to rocketry.

I thought Verna may have had some unique mis-print, that I wanted to actually see.
It would have been funny....open the box and "Hey man, where's the parts for THIS option?"
