Semroc Centurion-F
Getting started on a Semroc Centurion-F, very interesting kit as it has an interchangeable motor mount.
The 29mm mount is glued/epoxied in, then the 24mm mount slides in the 29mm mount. Reminds me of the interchangeable motor mounts that was in the Estes K-36 Saturn. Has anyone built and flown this kit on reloadable motors? If so, did you use Aerotech RMS 24/60 in the 24mm mount? I tried to fit my Aerotech RMS 29/40-120, but was too long for the 29mm mount. New to reloadable motors, so looking for something that will fit the 29mm mount and not send the Centurion out of sight. Thanks..... Jim

Of course the intended use is the Estes 29mm E and F motors. I usually fly my Centurion F on an Estes E and get a nice flight from it. Unfortunately the only time I flew it on a 24mm motor (Estes E12 at NSL in 2013) it spat the adapter out at ejection and I did not find it.
I would expect a 1-grain 29mm CTI case would fit, but they don't have accommodation for the motor hook like an Aerotech does. Hopefully someone with wider Aerotech experience will chime in....
