Default How long should launchs lug be?

I'm (still) working on a BT 80 Nike Ajax from THE LAUNCH PAD. I've converted it to an Aerotech single 29mm and I want to use .25" launch lugs. The instructions make no mention of ANY launch lug attachment. How long do launch lugs need to be?

Happy Holidays!! Jeff

Put two on it. One at the base of the booster and one at the top of the booster with each 1.5" long.

That should work.

Don't forget a stand off to clear the top of the booster flange.

Thanks Gordy. Until my order from Apogee arrives, I only have 1" lugs in 1/4". Do you think 1" is too short? Jeff

I forget that not everyone has piles and piles of "stuff".

1" lugs will work fine.

Thanks Gordy. The only thing I have "piles and piles" of is money.

NOT!

I hope you have a fine holiday season! Jeff

If you "need" 1/4" launch lugs, I do have 1 1/4" mylar and 4" paper in length in stock.
